Approach to therapy

My style is warm, compassionate and active. I focus on your unique needs, strengths, and goals to find realistic solutions. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, and solution-focused therapy to help alleviate emotional pain & change behaviors that don’t work for you.

In addition to my private practice, I have worked in medical centers (Kaiser, UCDavis Health Center & an local OB/GYN clinic), group psychotherapy practices (focused on Anxiety Issues and Trauma), nursing homes & community mental health clinics serving children, adults and geriatric individuals.

I maintain a Colorado License (# 2603) with yearly continuing education. I have professional memberships with Colorado Psychological Association and  American Psychological Association.

I have been a Denver resident for more than 30 years. I enjoy skiing and hiking, cultural and community events, and spending time with my family.
